Cora "Jane" Campbell, 81, of Burlington, formerly of Davenport and Bettendorf, died following an extended illness Monday morning, Oct. 24, 1994, at the Burlington Medical Center. 
Born Sept. 5, 1913, in "Innapolis" Mo. (error: should read Annapolis), she was the daughter of John Lee and Margaret Hake Jackson.  She married Lawrence "Dick" Campbell in Kahoka, Mo.  He died Sept. 29, 1989.  Mrs. Campbell and her husband owned and operated D. and J. Furniture Store, Davenport, for many years.  She enjoyed gardening, boating and traveling. 

Survivors include four sons, Richard E. Murphy of Burlington, Jim Murphy of Kingston, Bill Murphy of Carmen, Illinois, and Larry Paxson of New Windsor, Illinois; one daughter, Janet Alexander of Kansas City, Mo.; 21 grandchildren; one great-great grandson; one sister, Ruth Coleman of Camanche; one brother, Otis Jackson of Bonne Terre, Mo. 

Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the Runge Mortuary, Davenport.  The funeral for Mrs. Campbell will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at the Runge Mortuary with the Rev. C. H. Meyer officiating.  Burial will be in Oakdale Memorial Gardens, Davenport.  A memorial fund has been established.
