Death Location: near Long Creek, Bessemer City, Gaston, North Carolina: It was settled in 1756 and founded in 1893. Bessemer City was founded on land purchased from the Ormand family. She is thought to have been buried on the farm owned by the Ormand's.
Notes from Grave Site: "Long Creek Presbyterian Church sits on a hill in Gaston County, North Carolina, in a rural area between Bessemer City and Kings Mountain. Land for the church was given by Benjamin Ormand, whose Grandfather, James had received a land grant from King George II in 1754."
Note: I did find another Entry: Find A Graver, Jerry Cole, Created & Added: 14 Oct 2015 @ Find a Grave Memorial 153702988 for Mary Madgalina Dellinger Costner Birth 11 Dec 1748 Death 6 Jun 1839 (aged 90) Burial Kiser Cemetery Carroll County, Georgia, USA Plot Wilson Memorial ID 153702988. It is possible as her daughter lived here and also died in Bessimer City, NC. I can't seem to get a message to the creator of this memorial.
