Lewis D. Rouzer Dies
Business Man Who Was Long-time Resident of Washington
Lewis D. Rouzer of the firm of L.D. Rouzer & Son, a resident of this city for many years, died Wednesday. Funeral services were held Friday at the residence of his son, William G. Rouzer, 420 K Street Northwest, Rev. H.H. Ranck of the Grace Reformed Church officiating. Interment was in Rock Creek Cemetery.

Mr. Rouzer was born in Frederick County, Maryland, in 1849. He came here about thirty-two years ago and had been engaged in the wholesale and retail grain business all of this period, although ill health caused his retirement from active business about two years ago. Mr. Rouzer had been a member of the Grace Reformed Church for twenty-five years. He was a brother of the late George W. Rouzer, long a prominent newspaperman of this city.
