Ethel (Mounce) Baker Mayfield Trimble

Ethel Trimble, 87, Somerset, died Saturday, May 23, at Lake Cumberland Medical Center.

She was a member of the White Lily Baptist Church.

Born March 2, 1894, in Pulaski County, she was the daughter of John Riley Mounce and Lucinda Erp Mounce.

She was married in 1969 to Vola Trimble.

Previous marriages were to James T. Baker in 1914 and William Mayfield in 1940, both of whom preceded her in death.

Survivors are her husband, Vola; a son, Dewayne Baker, Danville; two daughters, Genevieve Wright, Stearns and Audrey Creekmore Haggard, Somerset; four brothers Oscar, Ottis, Hollis, and Homer Mounce, all of Somerset; four sisters, Leecy Shadoan, Danville, Ada VanHook, Eva Dykes, and Lena Hunt, all of Somerset; 12 grandchildren; and 28 great-grandchildren.

Services were held Monday, May 25, at the Science Hill chapel of the Morris and Hislope Funeral Home with Elders Edmond VanHook and Edward Bradley and the Rev. A.A. Farris officiating.

Burial was in the White Lily Cemetery.
