Hancock - HARRY OLIVER VANORSDALE, 61, 24 South St., died unexpectedly Tuesday morning at his home. He was born in Berkeley Springs, the son of Wesley and Margaret Catherine Stotler Vanorsdale.

He was a foreman at Western Maryland Railway for 30 years.

He is survived by wife, Mrs. Emma Sheppard Vanorsdale; daughters, Mrs. Rosalea Lanehart, Mrs. Margaret Stotler, both of Hancock; Mrs. Janet G. Mills, Big Pool; Mrs. Nina N. Reed, Hancock; Mrs. Mary L. Robinson, Hedgesville, WV; Mrs. Emma T. Bishop, Hancock; Mrs. Wanda L. Mellott, Needmore, Pa.; sons, Donald O. Vanorsdale, Hancock; Melvin E., Warfordsburg; 33 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; brothers, Henry and Lewis, both of Martinsburg, WV; Ernest, Hancock.

Funeral services were held at the Grove Funeral Home, Hancock; burial was in Cedar Lawn Memorial Park, Hagerstown.
