Willis Allen Smith (84) passed away on November 11th, 2015 in the Lake Havasu Hospital, Arizona. He had congestive heart failure and kidney failure.

Willie was born on December 19, 1930 in Draper, Utah. His parents were Parley Pratt Smith and Leona Caroline Allen.

He was married to Lois Irene Riggs on June 2, 1950. She passed away on March 7, 1996. Willie retired from Mountain Bell Telephone after 32 years. He was a member of the TPFC and traveled with the Rolling Phones of Utah, the Copper State Bells of Arizona and the Phone Pholks of Arizona. They made many wonderful and lasting friendships. He loved playing Horseshoes and having a beer on the porch with his friends.

Surviving are their daughters Ellen Smith (Lynn) Collier and Michelle Smith (Mike) Sugino and son Bruce Allen Smith; five grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. Also surviving are four of his eight siblings; Claire Cordner, Allen (Joyce) Smith, Paul (Shirley) Smith and Carolyn (George) Showell. Preceding him in death; his parents and 4 siblings; Helen Burke, Marion Damjanovich, Deon Bagley and Larae Hales.

After the passing of his wife, Willie met Marilyn Russo. They married June 14, 2005. They enjoyed traveling and wintering in Salome, AZ.

A "Celebration of his life" will be on Saturday, December 12, 2015 at the Black Lion Event Center. Address: 9854 South 700 East, Sandy, Utah, 84070
