Stanley Sakowski

Stanley Sakowski of 1054 W. Belden Ave. died yesterday at a local nursing home. A native of Poland, he lived in Syracuse 70 years.
Mr. Sakowski had retired as an employe of O.M. Edwards Co. He was a communicant of Sacred Heart Church and a member of the Polish National Alliance, the St. John Kanty Society, Polish Roman Catholic Union and the Fathers Club.
Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Bernard Swiderski of Bridgeport, Mrs. Henry Zajac of Chesepeake, Va., and Mrs. James McDermott; three sons, Matthew, Frank, and Walter, 18 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 8:15 a.m. Saturday at Giminski-Wysocki Funeral Home and at 8:45 a.m. in Sacred Heart Church where a mass will be celebrated by the Rev. Msg. Adolph A. Kantor. Burial will be at Sacred Heart Cemetery.
Calling hours will be 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. tomorrow and Friday at the funeral home, 1320 W. Genesee St.
