Rezek

Louis Rezek, 83, former Route 1, Maribel resident, died Wednesday night in Family Heritage Nursing Home, Manitowoc.

Funeral services will be 1:30 p.m. Saturday in Melnik Presbyterian Church, Melnik. The Rev. Gregory Meyer will officiate and burial will be in the church cemetery. Military graveside rites will be conducted by American Legion Drews-Bleser Post No. 88 of Manitowoc.

Mr. Rezek was born Aug. 24, 1895, in the Town of Gibson, son of the late Anton and Julia Andrell Rezek. He married Tillie Salta June 17, 1917, in Manitowoc, and was a Veteran of World War I. Mr. and Mrs. Rezek farmed in the Town of Gibson and Mr. Rezek also did carpenter work. The couple observed their 60th wedding anniversary in June, 1977. Mrs. Rezek died Nov. 4, 1977. Mr. Rezek was a member of Melnik Presbyterian Church.

Survivors include two sons, Roy of Route 1, Maribel and Victor of Route 1, Mishicot; three daughters, Mrs. Russell (Charlotte) Kittell and Mrs. Martin (Betty) Wotruba of Route 1, Maribel, and Mrs. Emil (Irene) Kunstman of Two Rivers; two brothers, Hugo of Route 1, Denmark, and Leo of Route 1, Maribel; three sisters, Emma Rezek of Manitowoc, Mrs. Charles (Rose) Bauer of Racine and Mrs. Anna Hynek of Maribel, 20 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren. An infant son, three brothers, a sister and two grandchildren preceded him in death.

Friends may call in Saur Funeral Home, Kellnersville, after 4 o'clock this Friday afternoon until 11:30 a.m. Saturday and in the church from noon until the time of service.
