Mrs. Burnett was born on May 16, 1945 in Olney, the daughter of Charles Sherman and Cathryn Fildes Fee. She married Don Burnett on September 2, 1967 in Olney. He survives.
She was a member of Evangelical Presbyterian Church in Anna where she sang in the choir, taught Sunday School and was a deacon. She was a graduate of Southern Illinois University and a former school teacher of language at Egyptian High School. She taught English and French. Her faith in God, her family, her friends and her church were her life.
Mrs. Burnett is survived by her husband, Don Burnett of Anna; three daughters, Andrea Lynn Burnett, Laura Susan and Jane Ann; one brother, Charles J. Fee of Lakeland, Fla.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Frederick Fee.
