TALMADGE F. QUIMBLEY
Talmadge F. Quimbley, 74, of 108-F Peabody Apartments, died Wednesday at the Medical Center.
Funeral arrangements are incomplete.
Mr. Quimbley was born Feb. 8, 1897, in Pascagoula,(Vancleave) Miss., son of the late Borougord(Beauregard) and Frances Summerall(Sumrall) Quimbley.
He had lived in Columbus for several years and was a retired textile employee.
Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Annie Lue Quimbley; four daughters, Mrs. Jackie Barber, Mrs. Elma Gean Ivey and Mrs. Margaret Streetman, all of Columbus; and Mrs. Frances Katman of Burch Crossing, Mich., one son, Joe Talmadge Quimbley of Columbus; one sister, Mrs. Jeannie Barlow of Hollywood, Calif.; 18 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Funeral services for Mr. Talmadge Quimbley will be held Friday at 3 p.m. at the Riverview Assembly with the Rev Raymond Wetzel officiating.
Interment will follow in Riverdale Cemetery.
Mr. Quimbley is survived by his wife, Mrs. Annie Lue Quimbley; four daughters, Mrs. Jackie Barber, Mrs. Elma Gean Ivey and Mrs. Margaret Streetman all of Columbus and Mrs. Frances Katman of Burch Crossing, Michigan; one son, Joe Talmadge Quimbley of Columbus; one sister, Mrs. Jeannie Barlow of Hollywood, California; eighteen grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
