JOHN M. QUIMBLEY
John M. Quimbley, 76, 4827 11th Ave., Columbus, died at 1 a.m. Tuesday at his residence after an illness of three years.
He was born in Vancleave, Miss., Sept 8, 1885, son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Beauragard Quimbley.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Annie M. Quimbley, Columbus; one step-son, Charles F. Smith, Columbus; one brother, Talmadge Quimbley, Columbus; four sisters, Mrs. B.F. Bates, Atlanta; Mrs. W.V. Barlew, Brannon, Calif.; Mrs. Ophelia Manning, Mobile, Ala.; and Mrs. Aaron (sic Eran)Holdan, Vancleave, Miss.; two step grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

QUIMBLEY -
Funeral services for JOHN M. QUIMBLEY will be held at 4 p.m. Wednesday at the Britton & Dobbs Chapel, Columbus, with the Reverend Curtis Barnes, pastor of Antioch Baptist Church, officiating. Interment will be in Riverdale Cemetery.
Active pallbearers will be W.W. Crockett, C.C. Graham, Sam Robinette, Silas Smith, Lee Ivey and Grady Jones.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Annie M. Quimbley; one step-son, Charles F. Smith, Columbus; one brother, Talmadge Quimbley; four sisters, Mrs. B.F. Bates, Atlanta, Mrs. W.V. Barlew, Brannon, California, Mrs. Ophelia Manning, Mobile, Alabama, and Mrs. Aaron Holdan, Vancleave, Mississippi; two step-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
