George Hollars, 59, Spanish-American War Veteran, was stabbed in front of the Hollars home at Tateville on Christmas afternoon. He died about 30 minutes after he was stabbed.
Mr. Hollars engaged in farming. He is survived by his wife and eight children, Mrs Ruby Stigall of Muncie, Indiana, Mrs. Elsie Toney, Miss Dollie Hollars, William Hollars, Virginia Hollars, Grace Hollars, Harold Hollars, and Buster Hollars, all of Tateville. The funeral service was held at the Tateville church on Monday afternoon with the Rev. James Dobbs officiating. Burial was in the Tateville cemetery.
