She was born February 28, 1923, in Waynesburg, a daughter of John R. and Eleanor Lunger Throckmorton.
Miss Throckmorton was a graduate of Waynesburg High School and Bethany College. She was supervisor of services for Bell Telephone Co. of Pennsylvania in Pittsburgh.
A former resident of Waynesburg, Miss Throckmorton resided in Pittsburgh the past 35 years. She was a Protestant and was a member of the Pioneers of Bell Telephone.
She was the last of her immediate family.
