Mrs. Eleanor L. Throckmorton, 64, of 275 West Franklin street, Waynesburg, died at 7:15 p.m. Monday, December 26, 1966, in Greene County Memorial Hospital.

She had been in failing health since the first of November and had been hospitalized several times since then. She was again admitted at 4 a.m. Monday.

Mrs. Throckmorton was the wife of John R. Throckmorton, executive vice president of the Gallatin National Bank.

She was born May 26, 1902, at Mars, Butler County, and was a daughter of the late William E. Lunger and Adele McLaughlin Lunger.

Mrs. Throckmorton was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Waynesburg, and was active in community affairs. She was a member of the Women'a Auxiliary to Greene County Memorial Hospital; Emerald Chapter No. 135, Order of Eastern Star; the Waynesburg Library Club, and the Greene County Country Club.

Surviving, in addition to her husband, are one daughter, Miss Eleanor L. Throckmorton, of Pittsburgh; and two sisters, Miss Edna Lunger, of Monaca, and Cecil, wife of Charles W. Reichard, of Butler.

Services were held Thursday with burial in Greene County Memorial Park.
