Rites Set
For Moose
Troy Baxter Moose, 89, route 1, Catawba, died at 7:50 a.m. today at Davis Hospital. He had been seriously ill for three days.
He was born on Jan. 8, 1903, in Iredell County, a son of the late John Moose and Margaret Eades Moose. He was married to Mrs. Dessie Moose who survives.
In addition to the widow, Mr. Moose is survived by two sons, Marshall Moose of Catawba and Bill Moose of Greensboro; two daughters, Mrs. Neil Isenhour and Mrs. Jimmy Rowe, both of of Catawba; two brothers, Walter Eugene and Rome Joel Moose, both of route 3, Statesville; two sisters, Mrs. David Cook of Mooresville and Mrs. Sloan Stewart, route 3, Statesville; 10 grandchildren and one great grandchild.
Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday will be conducted Wednesday at 3 p.m. at Olivet Baptist Church where he was a member. Officiating will be Rev. Bill Hoffman and Rev. C. B. Bobbit. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
The body will remain at Bunch Funeral Home until taken to the church to lie in states 30 minutes prior to the funeral hour. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 7:30 until 9 p.m. on Tuesday.
Pallbearers will be John Bynum, James Williams, Jr. Oscar Williams, John Ray Felts, Cecil Felts and Harodl Martin.
