Death Takes Mary Miller
Mrs. Mary Miller (Mueller), 75, passed away yesterday morning at her residence, 436 Hilborn st., after an extended illness.
Her husband was the late Frederick Miller of Lodi, who preceded her in death only last October.
Mrs. Miller, who was born in Neudorf, South Russia, came to the United States in 1898. Before coming to Lodi 11 years ago, she lived in Gackle, N.D.
She was a member of the Emanuel American Lutheran Church of Lodi and of the Ladies Aid Society of the church.
The deceased is survived by eight children, Mrs. Katharine Tiede and Mrs. Mathilda Veil, both of Lodi; John F. Miller of Victor; Fred Jr. and Emil Miller, both of Gackle, N.D.; Mrs. Carolina Mayer and Mrs. Lydia Mayer, both also of Gackle; and Mrs. Barbara Lang of Streeter, N.D.
She was the sister of Magdalena Kammerer of Follet, Tex.
Also surviving are 28 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
Interment in Cherokee Memorial Park Cemetery
