Frederick Miller, 72, passed away yesterday afternoon in his home at 436 Hilborn st. after a short illness.
A retired farmer, Mr. Miler came to Lodi 10 years ago from Gackle, N.D. He was a member of the Emanuel American Lutheran Church.
His widow, Mrs. Mary Miller, survives. The couple had celebrated their 55th wedding anniversary Friday.
He was the father of Mrs. Katherine Tiede and Mrs. Mathilda Veil, both of Lodi; John F. Miller, Victor; Fred Miller Jr., Mrs. Carolina Mayer, Emil Miller and Mrs. Lydia Mayer, all of Gackle, N.D.; and Mrs. Barbara Lang of Streeter, N.D.
The deceased was the brother of August and Peter Miller, both of Gackle, N.D.; and Gottlieb Miller of Sheridan, Wyo.
Also surviving are 28 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
