Mrs. Mary L. Fisher, aged 84, widow
of the late Joseph H. Fisher, died on
Jan. 22, 1938, at the home of her
daughter, Mrs. David Hyatt of Carmel.
She had been in failing health for some
time, due to the infirmities of
advanced age. She was a daughter of
Hosea and Permillian Head and was born
at Lake Mahopac.
Mrs. Fisher is survived by three daughters,
Mrs. David Hyatt, of Carmel, with whom she
made her home, Mrs. Garfield Tucker of
Lincolndale, and Mrs. Adelbert Worden, of
Mahopac; a son, Arthur Fisher, of Kent;
two sisters, Mrs. Anna Cargain and Mrs.
Elizabeth Smith, of Lake Mahopac; three
brothers, Hosea Head, of Jefferson Valley,
James Head, of Wassaic, and Henry Head,
of Lake Mahopac; 18 grandchildren and 10
great-grandchildren.
The funeral was held at the Mt. Carmel
Baptist church. Burial was in Raymond Hill
cemetery.
