Hannah Good was born in Frederick County Virginia where her parents George Good and Judith Garrett had married in 1812. I am guessing she was named after Judith's mother, Hannah Garrett. The family moved on to Clark County, Ohio where her youngest sibling Eliza Jane was born in December 1833. Hannah married Martin Setser on 6 Mar 1834 in Clark County with the record stating her father was present and gave his consent, implying she was under the age of 21, I suppose. Her first child, Thomas, was born about 1835 in Ohio, before the Setsers moved on to Greene County, Indiana along with her Good family where they farmed in Stafford Township. They were blessed with at least five daughters who appear to be named after family, including Judah possibly named after Hannah's mother. Hannah died in 1858 at the age of 47y 10m 27d per her tombstone and was buried in the Good family cemetery where siblings and relatives had previously been buried. Her children are listed in the settling of the estate of her father, George Good, in 1858. Her husband was buried along side her in 1872. [written 5-Mar-2019 by Steven W Good]
