The Daily Eclipse newspaper of Parsons, Kansas, December 31, 1885: Reuben Eye died at the residence of his son-in-law, G. W. Hardman, northeast of Parsons, December 30, 1885, aged 84 years. His wife Sarah Eye died the day before at the same residence in Walton Township. - age 84. City of Parsons lists burial as Block 2, Lot 20, original addition. There is no stone at that location for Reuben Eye or his wife. June 3, 2021
