IRA DELANE "BUBBA" MORGAN

WOODLAND - Ira Delane "Bubba" Morgan, 70, of Woodland, passed away Sunday, September 11, 2016, at the North Mississippi Medical Center Hospice following an extended illness. He was born September 12, 1945 to Pervis A. and Thelma Scott Morgan. He had worked as a welder, retiring from B&W after more than twenty years, and he was a Baptist.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, September 13, at Southern Funeral Chapel in Houston at 11:30 am with Brother Jamie Brown officiating. There will be visitation with the family from 9:30 until service time at the funeral chapel. Interment will follow at Amity Cemetery in Woodland.

Survivors include his siblings William Arnold Morgan and Charline of Pensacola, Fla, Judy Fountain and Steve of Maben, and Dennis Morgan and Sandra of Woodland; and a host of nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister Jo Ellen Kennedy, and a beloved nephew Terry Martin
