JEROME I. DUELLMAN
(1923 - 2011)

Jerome I. Duellman, age 87, a resident at Shady Lane Nursing Care Center, Manitowoc, died on Thursday, November 24, 2011 at the center surrounded by his family.

Jerome was born on December 30, 1923 to the late Walter and Edna (George) Duellman in Waumadee, WI. He joined the United States Army, serving in the Armoured Division from 1944 to 1945. On June 28, 1947 he married Albertha Osieczanek at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Manitowoc. Jerome was employed with Wisconsin Aluminum Foundry for 33 years retiring in 1989. He was a member of Eagles Aerie No. 706 and AMVETS Post 99.

He is survived by his wife: Albertha Duellman, Manitowoc; three sons and one daughter-in-law: John and Arda Duellman, Keith Duellman, and Dean Duellman, all of Manitowoc; three daughters: Lisa Duellman and special friend Michael Blake, Milwaukee, Kim Pagel, Manitowoc, Cathy Duellman, Albuquerque NM; five grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; two sisters: Arlene Miller, Riverside CA and Janice Wagner, Manitowoc; one brother: Edward Duellman, Cleveland; four sisters-in-law: Alice Duellman, Marcella Duellman, Janet Duellman, Debbie Duellman. Nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survive. Jerome is also preceded in death by one son: Jeffery Duellman in 1972; one son-in-law: Larry Pagel; three infant sisters; one infant brother and four brothers: Louis, Charles, James and Eugene Duellman.

Funeral services for Jerome will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, November 30, 2011 at St. Francis of Assisi on Grand, Manitowoc. Officiating at the Mass of Christian Burial will be the Rev. Dan Felton, with burial to follow at Knollwood Memorial Gardens, Hwy 310 Manitowoc. Graveside military rites will be accorded by AMVETS Post 99.

The family will greet relatives and friends on Wednesday, November 30, 2011 from 9:30 a.m. until 10:45 a.m. at St. Francis of Assisi on Grand, Manitowoc.

The Pfeffer Funeral Home, Manitowoc is assisting the family with funeral arrangements.

The family would like to send a special thank you to Shady Lane Nursing Care Center, especially Lisa Walters, for their compassionate care and support given to Jerome and his family.
