James C. (Archie) Duellman, age 55, of 3518 Menasha Ave., Manitowoc, died Saturday
afternoon, January 28, 1995, in the Town of Dunbar, Marinette County, as a result
of a snowmobile accident.
Funeral Services will be held at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday, February 1, 1995, at the
Pfeffer Funeral Home and 10 a.m. at Holy Innocents Catholic Church, Manitowoc.
Officiating at the Mass of Christian Burial will be the Rev. Gerald Foley with burial
to follow in the Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc.
He was born November 15, 1939, in Buffalo County, Wis,. son of the late Walter and
Edna George Duellman. He married the former Janet Dethlefsen November 26, 1960, at
St. Boniface Catholic Church, Manitowoc. Jim was employed as a foreman with the
Gulseth Construction Company of Manitowoc for 31 years.
Survivors include his wife, Janet Duellman, Manitowoc; two daughters and a son-in-law,
Tammy and Stephen Kohlbeck, Manitowoc, Sherri Duellman and special friend, John
Robinson, Manitowoc; one son and daughter-in-law, Scott (Skip) and Shelly Duellman,
Manitowoc; three grandchildren, Eric and Cassandra Kohlbeck, Ashey Duellman; two
brothers and sisters-in-law, Jerome and Bert Duellman, Manitowoc, Edward and Doris
Duellman, Cleveland; two sisters, Arlene Miller, Riverside, Calif., Janice Wagner,
Manitowoc; three sisters-in-law, Marcella Duellman, Milwaukee, Alice Duellman, Manitowoc,
Debbie Duellman, Arizona. Also surviving are nieces, nephews, other relatives and many
friends. He was also preceded in death by three brothers, Eugene, Charlie and Louie and
his mother-in-law, Mrs. Emma Dethlefsen.
Friends may call at the Pfeffer Funeral Home from 4-8 p.m. Tuesday where a prayer
service will be held at 7:30 p.m. led by Deacon Donald Schneider.
He was a loving husband and father who loved the outdoors and snowmobiling. Jim was a
hard worker and great provider. He thought the world of his grandchildren. You'll be
missed by your family and many special friends who will love you forever.
