The body will repose at the Rembs Funeral Home beginning at 7 p.m. tonight. The Altar Society will recite the rosary there at 3 p.m. Sunday. The Catholic Daughters of America will conduct a rosary service there at 7 p.m. Sunday, and a general rosary service will be held at 8 p.m. Sunday.
The former Theresa Hornick was born in Austria on May 6, 1882, and was three years of age when her parents came to Hewitt, where she received her education.
On Nov. 20, 1904, she was married at Hewitt to John Oettinger, who preceded her in death on May 22, 1936. The ceremony was performed in St. Joseph's Catholic Church by the late Rt. Rev. Msgr. A. J. Dorrenbach. After living in Stratford for several years, the couple moved to Marshfield.
Mrs. Oettinger was a member of St. John's Catholic Church and its Rosary Altar Society.
Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Marie Romang, Marshfield, and Mrs. Gertrude Bey, Chicago, Ill.; a son, Wilfred, Beaver Dam; four sisters, Mrs. Catherine Borens, Marshfield; Mrs. Frank Ebsen, Wisconsin Rapids; Mrs. Harold Cooke, Irvington, N. J.; Mrs. Joseph Schille, Union, N. J.; one brother, Wenzel Hornick. Marshfield, and three grandchildren.
Two sisters preceded her in death.
