Mrs. Ival A. Bruce, 83, of 302 North Stotler Street, Benton, died today at Cockrum's Intermediate Care Home in Benton.
Mrs. Bruce was a resident of Franklin County for 58 years.
She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Monalee Snyder, Benton and Miss Aline Bruce, Chicago, and six sons, J.R. Bruce, Tom, Othel, Randall and William Bruce, all of Benton, and Warren Bruce, West Frankfort.
She also leaves 16 grandchildren; six great grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Maybell Bell, Fred, Texas, and Mrs. Jewel Doerge, Minden, La., and two brothers, Earl Morris, Fred, Texas, and Edward Morris, Cullen, La.
Her husband, John A. Bruce, died in 1959, while she was also preceded in death by a daughter, Mrs. Addie Gant, and her parents, William A. and Mallie Nickerson Morris.
