A World War I Veteran, Richard William Mincer, of East Clinton Street, died at his home on Sunday, November 7, 1954.
A former employee of the Fromm Dry Cleaning establishment, he had undergone medical treatment at Aspinwall and the Altoona Veterans Hospital. A daughter was married at his bed side.
Born in Castanea, he was the son of Mr. and Mrs. John Mincer.
He was survived by his wife, Edna Johnson Mincer, and the following children: Corporal Richard Mincer Jr., in Germany; Edna, Betty, Dorothy, Mrs. Richard Rafter, Beverly and Barbara, all of Lock Haven; and two grandchildren.
Edward M. Mincer of Lock Haven, who was a patient at Aspinwall, and Mrs. Anna Brownlee, also of Lock Haven, were brother and sister.
Services were held at the Helt Funeral Home, Lock Haven, with the Reverend Henry Murdoch, Pastor of First Baptist Church, officiating.
Interment was in the Flemington Cemetery with Military Rites in charge of the Veterans of Foreign Wars.
