Mrs. Mary Morgan, of the Calvary section, died in a Baltimore nursing home last Sunday morning after an illness of some time at the age of 75 years.

She was the widow of the late William E. Morgan and the daughter of the late Sneade and Susan Parks.

For the past three years she had been a patient at the nursing home. A lifelong resident of Crisfield until the time that her health compelled her to have special treatment, she was a woman of high character, a good neighbor and one who was willing at all times to help those in need or in trouble. News of her death was received by those neighbors as a shock and the feeling that they had lost a true friend. A devoted mother to her four children and a hard worker in the Asbury Methodist Church and was regular in her attendance there until her health prohibited her from attending regularly.

Her body was brought here and rested at the Bradshaw Funeral Parlors until Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock when funeral services were held at the Asbury Methodist Church with Rev. Robert E. Green conducting the service.
