Jane had many interests; gardening, birds, sewing, baking and cooking to name a few. Jane was best known for her Crumb Pie, Chicken Pot Pie and “famous” Cabbage soup. Her doll collection was her pride and joy. She loved making new acquaintances and friends. She also loved cuddling with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. In her earlier years, she was an active member of the Ladies Elks Lodge # 378 in Hagerstown, MD.
She is survived by 2 daughters, Jean Weitzel, and Cheryl Robertson, 4 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.
A mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. James Catholic Church, Boonsboro. Jane will be laid to rest at Boonsboro Cemetery next to her loving husband, Charles. Arrangements by the Bast-Stauffer Funeral Home, Boonsboro.
