Judith Ann Marchello, 66, of Fond du Lac, died Sunday, May 30, 2004, at St. Agnes Hospital.
She was born Feb. 23, 1938, in Fond du Lac to Clarence and Caroline Tesloff Strebe.
She graduated from St. Mary’s Springs High School in 1956 and St. Agnes School of Nursing in 1959.
She married Joseph W. Marchello on Sept. 23, 1961.
She lived a life of service to family, friends and community. She was a devoted wife, homemaker, daughter, sister, mother and friend.
She is a member of Holy Family Parish. She donated time to St. Vincent DePaul, Loaves and Fishes, St. Patrick’s Catholic Church and the local food pantry.
She is survived by her husband; children, Deanna (John) Vodacek of New Auburn, Joretta (Matthew Shinners of Antigo and Mark (Amy) Marchelllo of Kewaskum, sisters, Mary Strebe and Kathryn Pieper of Almond; nieces and nephews; other relatives and friends.
She will be missed by her grandchildren, John and Caroline Vodacek, Alex and Abe Shinners and Grace, Tony and Sophie Marchello.
She was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Patricia Blatz.
Services: A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 1 p.m. on Thursday, June 3, 2004, at Holy Family Parish-St. Patrick Church. The Rev. John Radetski will officiate. Entombment will be in the Chapel of the Risen Christ Mausoleum, Calvary Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Marian College School of Nursing Sister Mary Agreda Touchett Scholarship Fund in memory of Judith Marchello. Zacherl Funeral Home is serving the family.
