DIRECTOR FOR BUDGET AT RUEPING FIRM; CHURCH RITES
Clarence M. Strebe, 56, of 161 Boyd St., budget director at the Fred Rueping Leather Co, died unexpectedly at 9 a.m. Saturday at St. Agnes Hospital.
Born Dec. 30, 1910, in Fond du Lac, he was the son of Arthur and Barbara Brost Strebe. He married Caroline Tesloff Feb. 8, 1932, in the city. Mr. Strebe was a member of the Rueping Key Men’s Club and St. Mary’s Church.
Survivors include his widow; four daughters, Mrs. Eugene Blatz of Dotyville, Mrs. Joseph Marchello, Oshkosh, and Mary and Kathryn at home; and one sister, Mrs. Felix O’Brien, Milwaukee. He was preceded in death by one sister.
Friends may call after 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Uecker-Witt Funeral Home. Funeral services will be at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home and 10 a.m. at St. Mary’s Church, Rt. Rev. Msgr. Henry A. Maurer officiating. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.

Funeral services for Clarence M. Strebe, who died Saturday, were held at 9:30 a.m. today from the Uecker-Witt Funeral Home and 10 a.m. from St. Mary’s Church, Rev. James M. Ernster officiating. Burial was in Calvary Cemetery.
Honorary pallbearers were members of the Holy Name Society and included George Reska, Steve Sabel, Hugo Mohlberg, Gregor Bast and Cletus Hockrein.
Active pallbearers wee Allen Levnhagen, James Schaub, Donald Paschen, Eugene Paschen, Thomas Paschen and Arthur Olp.
