Allen Wayne Waddell, age 67, passed away Thursday, April 20, 2017.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM Sunday, April 23rd in the chapel at Belk Funeral Home, with burial following in Grove Hill Cemetery, directed by Belk Funeral Home. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service Sunday at the funeral home.

Born February 28, 1950, Wayne is the son of the late Leondias Polk Waddell, Jr., and Sara Douglas W. Ward. He served in the U.S. Army and was stationed in Germany during the Vietnam era, and then worked in construction. He enjoyed listening to country music, raising game chickens, and he enjoyed spending time with family and friends.

Surviving are his sons of Texas, Wayne and David; his twin sons of Kentucky, Wayne and Shane; four grandchildren; his sisters, Evelyn Harding of Clio, MI, Betty W. (Mike) Rogers of Darlington, Deborah (Larry) Rayfield of Chesterfield, Faye (Allen) Streett of Darlington; numerous nieces and nephews; and a special friend who was like a brother, James Wilkes.

In addition to his parents, Wayne was preceded in death by his sister, Janice Waddell Karam.
