MOTHER OF LEAD WOMAN DIES IN CALIFORNIA
Word has been received in Lead of the death early Friday morning of Mrs. Edna May Dotson, Redondo Beach, Calif. The message was received by Mrs. Sadie Frandsen of Lead, only surviving child.
Mrs. Dotson was born in 1882 to Mr. and Mrs. W.C. May in Antwerp, O. and moved to Spearfish in early girlhood. In 1901, she was married to Oliver Dotson and resided in Spearfish until 1928. Mr. Dotson preceded her in death in 1927.
For the past 20 years, she has made her home in California.
Surviving relatives besides her daughter are five grandchildren: Mrs. Louise Myers, Rapid City Air Force Base; Billie May Lewis, Riverside, Calif., Jack Frandsen, U.S.S. New Jersey, Norfolk, Va., Kay, Redondo Beach, Calif., and George, Lead; a sister, Mrs. Alma Wortham, Redondo Beach; and two brothers, Charles May, Blythe, Calif. and Robert May, Los Angeles, Calif.; a niece and one nephew of California and two great-grandchildren. Ricky Lynn Oliver, and Kathleen Myers also survive.
Funeral arrangements are pending word from relatives.

Funeral Tuesday 2 p.m. at Niland Mortuary, Redondo Beach. Interment Inglewood.
