JOSEPH D. BATSON
Joseph Dean Batson, 76, of 101 S. Florida Ave., Trailor Park Lot 5, died Wednesday.
A native of Greenville County, son of the late Thomas and Elizabeth Rainey Batson he was retired from Adams Upholstering Shop and was a member of Second Baptist Church.
Surviving are his wife Cornelia Eubanks Batson; three daughters, Sara Chitwood of Baltimore, MD; Norma Allen of Tucker, GA; Betty Murray of Simpsonville; two sons Charles T. Batson and Phillip Dean Murray of Greenville; three sisters, Estele James of Liberty, Ella Mae Owens of Greenville, Nellie Hamilton of Smyrna, GA; one brother, Clayton Batson of Greenville; sixteen grandchildren and nineteen great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11 AM Saturday at Second Baptist Church by Rev. Grady Bridwell and Rev. Norwood Robinson with burial in Graceland Cemetery.
The body is at the Jones Mortuary where the family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday
The family will be at the home of a son Charles T. Batson, 20 County Cork Drive Berrea.
