Margaret Graham married Joseph Green on 22 Jul 1812 in Tyron (now Rutherford) County, NC. They had 13 children. Margaret's husband Joseph died before 1850/probably ~1845. His death location is not known. He was thought to have stayed in NC when his father & several siblings left NC for AL, so it's likely Joseph died in NC, possibly Rutherford county. However, by the 1850 census, Joseph's widow Margaret and the children were censused in Benton (now Calhoun) County, AL, where at least 1 of Joseph's brothers (Sam) was also listed in 1850. By 1860, Margaret had moved to Lexington, TX in then Burleson (now Lee) County, where her husband Joseph's brother, Sam, was also censused. She died sometime before the 1870 census. Probably ~Sep 1969 in Burleson County, though the exact location is not known.

Margaret & Joseph's children are:

1) Caroline Ulyses (Green) Baugh (3 May 1813 - 24 Mar 1900, TX)
2) Arthur Green (b 30 Jun 1814)
3) John Graham Green (6 Sep 1815 - 5 Sep 1887)
4) Mary (Green) Boyd Carmack (15 Feb 1817 - 25 Mar 1897, TX)
5) Fannie (Green) Foster (4 Oct 1818 - aft 1880)
6) Wm T Green 25 May 1820 - 5 Oct 1862)
7) Elizabeth Elvira "Alma" Green (b 16 Feb 1822)
8) Nancy Dill (Green) Melton (7 Feb 1824 - prob bef 1860)
9) Jacob Ross "Big Jake" Green (12 Feb 1826 - 27 Aug 1892, TX)
10) Joseph Pinkney Green (25 Dec 1827 - 17 Aug 1900, TX)
11) Margaret Sarah "Catherine" (Green) Parks (16 Apr 1831) - 6 May 1880, TX)
12)Christopher Columbus "Chris B" Green (30 Oct 1834 - 1896, GA)
13) Samuel Franklin Green (19 Oct 1836 - 23 Oct 1912, TX)

Margaret is probably the daughter of Arthur Graham (1762 - 1804) & his wife Elizabeth (Beatty) Graham Chandler (1766 - 1853). Arthur & Elizabeth Graham's Lincoln & Cleveland County, NC locations and census records are consistent with Margaret's profile, plus the name of Margaret's eldest son--Arthur--reflects her own father's name.
