Alex A. Krug
Alex a Krug, 83, (address), died Tuesday, March 5 (as printed), at a Topeka hospital.
He was a former employee of the Morrell Packing Plant and later worked for I.H. Mill until his retirement.
Mr. Krug was born Nov. 19, 1901, in Russell, the son of George P. and Mary E. Weinmaster Krug. He lived in Bazine before moving to Topeka in 1932.
He was married to Mollie Krug (her maiden name) on Sept. 17, 1925. She preceded him in death on June 16, 1930. He later married Frances E. Hood on Dec. 22, 1933 in Topeka. She died Nov. 4, 1974.
Survivors include two daughters, two sons, five sisters, and 10 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at Davidson Funeral Home. Services also will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Bazine United Methodist Church, Bazine. Burial will be in Bazine Cemetery.
