She is preceded in death by her husband, Eddie Loggins who passed away in 1998; parents, Lena and Melvin Bateman, Sr.; brothers, Melvin Bateman, Jr., Neil Bateman, Jesse Bateman and Michael Bateman; sisters, Reba Hood.
She is survived by her brother, Bill Bateman (Waddie) of Cincinnati, Ohio; sister, Eulene Daves of Dallas Texas; sisters-in-laws; Kassiana Bateman and Patricia Bateman;17 nieces and nephews; 37 great nieces and nephews; and 15 great-great nieces and nephews.
