YOUTH, HURT AS UNCLE IS KILLED IN CRASH, DIES
Virden, Sept. 24. - Floyd Bell, aged 19 years, 7 months and 9 days, who was hurt Tuesday near Chicago when a train hit the automobile in which he and his uncle, Elmer Myers, were riding, died at 2:30 o'clock Sept. 24, 1926, at a hospital in Northbrook. Myers was killed instantly, and Bell did not regain consciousness.

Mr. Myers was born in Virden where he spent practically his entire life. He was aged 26 years, 10 months and 7 days.

He is survived by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. John Myers, Virden; four brothers, Lewis, West Frankfort; Lemuel, Nilwood; James, Virden; and Sinas; five sisters, Mrs. Pearl Bell, Virden, mother of Floyd Bell; Mrs. Ethel Pierce, Toledo, O.; Mrs. Esta Welchman, Springfield; Miss Ruth Myers, Chicago; and Miss Mame Myers, Virden.
