Mrs. Paula Schmidt, 89, of Staunton, died at 2:10 a.m. Tuesday at Staunton Health Care Center. She had been in ill health the past five years.
She married Louis Schmidt June 11, 1921. He died July 17, 1956.
Surviving are three sisters, Mrs. Anna Stille of Anaheim, Calif., Miss Louise Fleming of Laguna Hills, Calif., Mrs. Edward (Hilda) Albrecht of Staunton; a brother, Henry Fleming of Staunton.
Services will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. Thursday at the Williamson funeral home by the Rev. Charles Kittle, pastor of the Zion Lutheran Church, Staunton.
