Marcus L. Case was born in Asheville, N. C., August 26, 1859. In 1891 he moved with his family from North Carolina to Arkansas. Seven years ago he moved from Gravett, Ark., to Clarkston where he has since resided, being engaged in gardening and dealing in real estate.

Besides his widow, Mr. Case leaves to mourn his loss, eight children, 19 grandchildren and two great grandchildren. The children are Mrs. Nick Holt and Earl Case, Clarkston; Olen Case, Lewiston; Mrs. W. A. McLaughlin and R. S. Case, Grangeville; Mrs. C. C. Casey, Texarkana, Texas; C. L. Case, Kansas City, Mo.; Mrs. H. R. Moody, Hillsboro, Ill.
