Mrs. Nick (Nora) Holt, 86, Clarkston, died yesterday afternoon at Tri-State Memorial Hospital of infirmities. She had been at the hospital 31 days.

Before entering the hospital she had been a patient at Rest Haven Nursing Home, where her husband resides.

Residents of Clarkston since 1921, the Holts lived at 837 5th St. before entering the nursing home. Holt worked as a carpenter most of his life, retiring in 1963.

Mrs. Holt was born June 7, 1883, at Brevard, N.C., the daughter of Marcus and Sallie Case.

At the age of 9 she moved with her parents to Arkansas by covered wagon. She was married to Holt at Bentonville, Ark., Feb. 19, 1902. They had one child, Beta, who died in August, 1966.

The Holts moved to Mount Vernon, Wash., in 1907, where Holt first became engaged in carpentry. They moved to Grangeville in 1914 and to Clarkston in 1921.

She was a member of the First Christian Church, and the Order of Eastern Star.

She is survived by here husband, at the nursing home; a brother, Olin Case, Richland, Wash.; three sisters, Mrs. Della McLaughlin and Mrs. Flossie Moody, Clarkston, and Mrs. Coy Casey, Texarkana, Tex.; and a nephew, Edgar Case, Edmonds, Wash., who was reared by the Holts.
