Alberta L. Lennox, 80, of Florence, Colorado passed away January 15, 2018. Alberta was born to Albert Snyder and Cora Mae (Acton) Snyder on September 3, 1937 in Elkton, Colorado.
In 1944, when Alberta was seven years old, the family moved to Florence. Alberta graduated high school in 1955 and on January 25, 1958 she married William L. Lennox Sr. Alberta loved to read, do crafts and play bunco. She was a bookkeeper, working at the Army Depot, Saint Joseph Hospital in Florence and Hildebrand Care Center in Canon City for over 20 years.
She is survived by her daughter, son, brother, sister-in-law and brothers-in-law. Also by four grandsons, and two dear friends, along with numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Albert, Wesley and Ivan; sisters, Virginia, Alta and Dorothy.
Funeral service 11:00 a.m. Friday, January 19, 2018, Wetmore Baptist Church, CO Highway 96, Wetmore, Colorado.
