SERVICES TODAY FOR DOROTHY MILES
Former Westcliffe resident Dorothy L. Miles, late of Brookside, died at her home on Tuesday, June 18, 1991 following a lengthy illness. She was 59.
Mrs. Miles was born Sept. 15, 1931 at Elkton, Colo. She had been a resident of Brookside the past eight years, moving there from Westcliffe where she had lived for 14 years. Prior to that, she lived in Florence for 27 years.
Mrs. Miles was a member of the First Baptist Church of Westcliffe.
She and Duane B. Miles were married Feb. 13, 1954 in Florence. She survives, as do two sons and two daughters. Also surviving are seven grandchildren. Other survivors include three sisters, a brother, two sisters-in-law, and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by three brothers and a niece.
Graveside services will be held today, Thursday, June 20, at 11 a.m. at the Mountain Vale Memory Gardens in Canon City, with Rev. Fred Kitch officiating. Florence Mortuary is handling arrangements.
