Alta J. Woodard, 64, of Florence died at St. Thomas More Hospital July 30, 1992. She was born Jan. 18, 1928, in Florence to Albert J. and Cora M. (Acton) Snyder.
Mrs. Woodard was a resident of Florence for six years, returning to Florence from Cleveland, Ohio, where she lived for 38 years.
She was married May 7, 1958, in Cleveland to Edwin M. Woodard, who survives. Mrs. Woodard is also survived by a daughter, two grandchildren, a brother, and two sisters, aunts, unlces and several nieces andnephews.
The funeral procession will leave the Florence Mortuary Chapel on Monday, Augl. 3, at 1 a.m. for services and interment at Union Highland Cemetery. The Rev. Jim Royal will officiate.
