Mrs. LILLIE MAE (SMITH) SENTELL was the daughter of Edd Smith and Mrs. Clara E. (Goss) Smith.

She was the wife of Jasper Sentell Sr. whom she married on May 10, 1925 in Harrison County, Texas.

Obituary
"Funeral services for Lillie Mae Sentell, of Route 1, Jefferson, will be held at 1 p.m. today in Connor Goodwill United Methodist Church with the Rev. Darrell Boone officiating. Burial will be in Pope City Cemetery under the direction of Burton Funeral Home.

Mrs. Sentell died Wednesday, April 4, 1984, in Dallas, after a short illness. She was born January 18, 1900, in Harrison County, the daughter of Ed and Clara Goss Smith. She attended Central High School in Jefferson. She was a housekeeper, and she was a member of Connor Goodwill United Methodist Church.

Her husband and one daughter preceded her in death.

Survivors include four sons, Edward Lee Sentell, of Longview, and Jasper Sentell Jr. and Hue Lee Sentell, both of Saginaw, Michigan, and Jefferson P. Sentell, of Dallas; 10 daughters, Mrs. Artie Parker and Iris L. Drumgoole, both of Jefferson, and Clarice Beckham, Clara M. Thomas, Evelyn Owens, Mattie L. Brewer, Ruthie Lee Sentell and Florence Beaty, all of Dallas, and Charlene James and Mrs. A.D. Arthur, both of Saginaw, Michigan; five brothers, Otis Smith, Will Smith and Eugene "Boss" Smith, all of Jefferson, and Roosevelt Smith, of Dallas, and Ed Smith, of Fort Worth; two sisters, Ida M. Newsome, of Longview, and Luella Smith, of Fort Worth; 52 grandchildren; 36 great-grandchildren; and a number of other relatives and friends."
