Violet graduated from Harbor Creek High School, and was a molding division supervisor at Plastek, retiring in 2001. Violet solving Sudoku puzzles, reading V.C. Andrews books and watching TV.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Robert W. Neal in 2000, daughter Noreen Neal Hoopsick, great-granddaughter Jasmine Denning, two sisters: Audrey Love and Geraldine McCormick, and five brothers: Junior Hill, Raymond Hill, Gerald Hill, Alec Hill and Charles Hill.
Survivors include her daughter Dawn Denning, grandchildren; great-grandchildren; four sisters: Mary Campagnola (Joseph), Lillian Woods, Charlotte Lane, and Jemima Spears, and brother Philip Hill (Sheri) further survive Violet; and many nieces and nephews.
Burial in Erie County Memorial Gardens.
