Marie C. Moyer, age 90, a resident of St. Mary's Home for the Aged, Manitowoc, died Saturday evening, July 5, 1997, at her residence.

A Memorial Mas will be held at 9:00 a.m. Friday, July 11, 1997, at St. Mary's Home for the Aged Chapel. Rev. Thomas Wojciechowski, O.F.M. will officiate. Graveside Committal Service will be at 11:00 a.m. Friday at St. James Catholic Church Cemetery in Cooperstown with Rev. Ron Columbo officiating.

Mrs. Moyer was born October 24, 1906, in Pine Grove, Wis., daughter of the late Mark and Josephine (Steinbrecher) Nachtwey. She married Clarence Moyer on July 14, 1948, at St. James Catholic Church Cemetery in Cooperstown. He preceded her in death in 1985. Mrs. Moyer lived in Reading, Pa. for most of her life, and after her husband passed away she moved to Manitowoc to be near her family. She has been a resident of St. Mary's Home for the Aged in Manitowoc since 1988. Mrs. Moyer was a member of Holy Innocents Catholic Church, Manitowoc.

Survivors include two sisters, Mrs. Rita Zahorik and Mrs. Evelyn Wojta, both of Manitowoc; one brother, Al (Lucille) Nachtwey of Green Bay; her godchildren, Carole Teske and Richard R. Wagner, both of Green Bay; many loved nieces and nephews and grand nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by two sisters, Mildred Schuster and Marion Wagner; two brothers, Roman and Norman Nachtwey.

There will be no visitation. The family will receive friends at 8:30 a.m. Friday at St. Mary's Chapel until the Memorial Mass at 9:00 a.m.

The Lambert Funeral Home of Mishicot is assisting the family with arrangements.
