The body of H. C. DeVall was brought here from Reeds Spring, MO., Sunday, and laid to rest in the Burlingame Cemetery. Mr. DeVall formerly lived here, but removed in the later 80's. He was an old soldier, and the services were under the auspices of the G.A.R. He had worked on the Finch and Shepard farms when a resident here, but acquaintance had largely died out. The body was accompanied by his wife, a son and three daughters.
