Dorothy Louise Barlow, 94, passed away on April 21st, 2018 at Northwoods Village. Dorothy was born to Loren and Vera Carpenter in Roann, Indiana on May 11th, 1923. Dorothy married Clarence Barlow on December 24th, 1945, and he preceded her in passing on December 1st, 1985.

Dorothy was a member of Judson Road Christian Church for many years, teaching Sunday School for 30 years. Dorothy was very much involved in the Girl Scouts of America and volunteered for 50 years.

Dorothy is survived by her daughter, Kathy Barlow; sisters Julia Raypholtz, Marilyn Hoy, and Phyllis Meyers; special niece Karla Williams; adopted grandchildren Kimberly and Bambi Martin; special friend Cheryl Martin.

Dorothy is preceded in passing by her parents, 3 brothers, and 4 sisters.

Friends and family may call from 11 a.n. to 1 p.m. on Wednesday, April 25th at Ellers Mortuary Webster Street Chapel. A funeral service will follow at 1 p.m., officiated by Pastor Brandon Bentch. Dorothy will be laid to rest at Sunset Memory Gardens.

Memorial contributions can be directed to the Girl Scouts of America, the Alzheimer's Association, or the Kokomo Humane Society.
