Mrs. Genzler, loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister, died peacefully in her home Thursday, March 29, 2007.
She was born March 22, 1935, in El Reno, Okla., to U.S. and Etta P. Sands. She moved to Midwest City, Okla., in 1972. She retired from the medical records department of Baptist Hospital, was a homemaker and had currently been working with her husband at OK tickets and events services, taking tickets at events at the OKC fairgrounds.
He loving, compassionate ways and always-ready hugs will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
Survivors include her husband: Robert Genzler, Midwest City; daughters: Grace Major, Donna Genzler, Jane (Wayne) Kinsey, Lynn Genzler, and son James Genzler; grandchidren: Kim, Melissa, Jason, Michelle, Ray, Brint, Elizabeth, Stephanie, Casey and Justin; great-grandchildren: Kayla, Ryhan, Austin, Christopher, Zachary, Robert and Robbie; sisters: Grace (James) Choate and Jewel Dean Apple; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
She was preceded in death by her mother and father: Etta and Ulysses Sands, brothers: Wayne and Buster Sands, sons: Ray, John and Danny Genzler, and granddaughters: Karissa Genzler and Brooke Achemire.
