Bruce Garver, a second cousin once-removed to Marjorie Emma (Kinzig) Lovett (1921-2018), began on Feb. 16, 2022, to write the following "bio" and solicits suggestions for its improvement. Majorie's mother, Emma Marie Bender Kinzig (1882–1971) is a first cousin to Bruce's grandfather John Frederick "Fred" Garver (1881-1953) and also godmother to Bruce's Dad, Lee William Garver (1904-1985).

Marjorie Emma Kinzig was born on March 23, 1921, at Dayton, seat of Montgomery County, Ohio, to Joseph Kinzig and Emma Marie (Bender) Kinzig. The 1940 U. S. Federal Census reports that Marjorie E. Kinzig, single at age 19, resided on Elmwood Avenue in Van Buren, Montgomery County, Ohio, with her parents, Joseph Kinzig, age 58, and Emma M. (Bender) Kinzig, age 57, and their three other children, Marcella E. (Kinzig) Benson, a divorcee st age 32; Lillian Marguerite Kinzig, single at age 26, and Ellsworth Joseph Kinzig, age twenty-one. Also residing in this household was eight-year-old Dale Benson (1932-1992), the son Marcella E. (Kinzig) Benson and her ex-husband David Benson.
Circa 1945, Majorie Emma Kinzig wed Ohio-born Robert N. Lovett (1918-1997) and with him raised two children, son Clifford Lovett and daughter Marilyn Lovett. (This paragraph will be enlarged at a later date...

Majorie Emma (Kinzig) Lovett died at the age of ninety-seven in Xenia, seat of Greene Coounty, Ohio. on May 26, 2018, and was interred several days later in Dayton, seat of Montgomery County, Ohio, at Dayton Memorial Park Cemetery in Section 03, Lot 716, Grave 03, next to the grave of her husband, Robert N. Lovett (1Nov. 2, 1918 to Dec. 16, 1997) at Dayton Memorial Park Cemetery in Section 03, Lot 716, Grave 02.

"Marjorie E. Lovett, age 97, of Xenia passed away May 26, 2018, at Greenewood Manor in Xenia, Ohio. She was born March 23, 1921 in Dayton, Ohio to the late Joseph and Emma (Bender) Kinzig.
"Marjorie was a graduate of Fairmont High School and worked for a few years as a secretary at Bellows Valve Air. She was primarily a homemaker and a dedicated wife and mother.
"Marjorie was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Robert Lovett in 1997; three siblings Marcella Benson, Ellsworth "Bud" Kinzig and Lillian Norris; nephew Jimmy Kinzig and other family members.
"Marjorie is survived by her son Clifford Lovett and her daughter Marilyn Lovett; brother-in-law Eugene Norris, and several nieces and nephews and their families. She will be dearly missed after her long and full life.
"A Celebration of Marjorie's life will be held Wednesday, May 30, 2018 at 1:00 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3380 Dayton-Xenia Road in Beavercreek, Ohio 45432. Burial will follow at Dayton Memorial Park in Dayton, Ohio.
"Marjorie's family will greet friends from 11:00 am-1:00 pm on Wednesday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to any animal shelter/rescue of your choice."
